Yoast SEO
Check every page the way Yoast does, and fix what it reports.
What it checks
For sites with Yoast SEO, open Yoast SEO in the left menu and click “Check all pages”. Gralus reads every published page through the plugin and runs Yoast SEO's own analysis on it, the same code Yoast runs in the WordPress editor. So the SEO and readability scores and the problems listed match what Yoast shows, in Yoast's words. Pages are checked again every month.
The list shows the lowest scores first, with a green, orange or red dot for SEO and for readability, the focus keyphrase, and each problem. Pages hidden from Google (noindex) are listed but not fixed. Needs plugin 0.14.0 or newer.
How a page is fixed
Click “Fix” on a page, or “Fix the 10 lowest-scoring pages”. For each page Gralus:
- sets a focus keyphrase if the page has none: a tracked keyword the page ranks for, a search Gralus planned for it, or its title;
- writes a new SEO title and meta description with the keyphrase, sized to Yoast's limits;
- edits paragraphs and headings where the text has problems (keyphrase in the introduction and subheadings, text length, long sentences, passive voice, missing transition words, long paragraphs, internal links), keeping every fact and existing link;
- checks the result with Yoast again, and keeps the text changes only when the page scores better.
Images, buttons, embeds and everything else on the page stay exactly as they are. Pages built with Elementor, Divi or another page builder get the keyphrase, title and description only, because their text lives in the builder.
Review and publish
Each fixed page waits in Approvals as one fix, with the scores before and after, what changed and what Yoast still reports. Edit the keyphrase, title or description, or leave the text changes out; Gralus checks it with Yoast again when you save. After approval the plugin writes the changes, keeps a WordPress revision of the page, and sets Yoast's scores, so the dots in WordPress's page list update. Undo puts back the keyphrase, title, description, text and scores. If the page was edited in WordPress after the fix was written, publishing stops and asks you to check it again.
What stays for you
Gralus doesn't add links to other websites (so it never invents an address), doesn't change page addresses (that breaks old links), and doesn't add images. Those checks stay in the list with a note. Up to 3 fix runs of 10 pages per site per day.
