The WordPress plugin
Install, connect, what it can and cannot do.
Install
Download gralus.zip from Settings → WordPress. In WordPress go to Plugins → Add New → Upload Plugin, choose the file and click Activate. Requires WordPress 6.2+ and PHP 7.4+.
Connect
In Gralus, Settings → WordPress → Create connection code. The code works once and expires in 60 minutes. Paste it in WordPress under Settings → Gralus. The plugin then reports basic site facts (post count, theme, SEO plugin) and sends a daily heartbeat.
What it does
- Creates and updates posts and pages that you approved in Gralus, as Gutenberg blocks.
- Writes SEO titles and descriptions into Yoast SEO or Rank Math fields when present, otherwise into the page itself.
- Adds FAQ schema for landing pages that have an FAQ section.
- Keeps a WordPress revision for every change so you can undo.
What it never does
- Delete posts, pages or media.
- Change settings, themes or other plugins.
- Publish anything that was not approved in Gralus.
- Act on unsigned requests — every call is signed with a key that only your Gralus account holds.
Disconnect
Settings → WordPress → Disconnect in Gralus, or deactivate the plugin. Published content stays on your site.
